Daughters of the King
Daughters of the King is a women's faith-sharing group at Saint Albert the Great, open to women of all ages. The group offers opportunities to bring Catholic women together to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through small faith-sharing groups, teachings, prayer, scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We pray that these practices will inspire women to share their faith in everyday life. Our goal is for each woman to recognize and live her true identity as a Beloved Daughter of God, growing deeper in her relationship with Jesus and sharing His love with others.
When do we meet?
Daughters of the King meet on Monday evenings in the OLG room of the Seton Center. All women are invited to attend the 6:30 PM Mass and then join us in Seton at 7:00 PM to begin the evening, which concludes at 8:30 PM. The same session is repeated on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, with participants encouraged to attend the noon Mass if possible.
What do we do?
Each session begins with an opening prayer, followed by a brief introduction. Then, participants who are in table groups of 5-8 women begin sharing, discussing the topic, answering questions, and reading scriptures related to the evening’s theme. The women learn, share and pray with and for each other making bonds of friendship and faith.
Each week is a standalone lesson, so you're welcome to attend whenever it’s convenient for you. However, to foster trust, vulnerability, and a sense of community with the other women in your group, regular attendance is encouraged. -

Whispers of Grace Women's Day Retreat - Oct. 19, 2024How does God speak to you? How do you receive His grace? God talked to Daniel in dreams. Samuel heard his name called out. Paul heard Jesus with an overwhelming voice. But how do we hear His voice today? How do we recognize the outpouring of His grace in our lives? Whether it’s a sudden inspiration, a wave of peace, a gentle nudge, or something deeply personal to you, one thing is certain: God speaks to each of us.
Take time out of your busy schedule to attend this Women’s Retreat to gain insights into the ways that God sends “Whispers of Grace”. From 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, we’ll journey together through scripture, nature, journaling, and fellowship, concluding with a special guided Adoration led by Fr. Charlie.

Soda Shop Social - July 8
Daughters of the King Women's Faith Sharing Group met for the first time on July 8 for a Soda Shop Social. Almost 60 women gathered for fellowship, faith, and community...and, of course, ice cream, ice cream floats, Ice cream blizzards, ice cream with all the toppings. All right so maybe it was for the ice cream, but great conversations and faith sharing with some even being brave enough to share part of their story!
