Volunteer Opportunities
God has given each of us unique gifts and talents. We encourage you to invest in your parish by using your gifts to serve others.
Click on the volunteer opportunities below to see which one is a good fit for you. Most are ongoing needs (evergreen); others are short-term for a specific project or an event. The three opportunities in the top row are Internal, and assist in the essential activities of the parish (Operations, RE, Liturgy); the three opportunities in the bottom row are External, and help us to serve those in need within our parish boundaries.

Social Ministry
(Ongoing; EIM certification required)There are many social outreach programs you can get involved with, such as Stuff the Truck, Blessing Bags, Feast of Grace, and more.

Food For Our Neighbors
(Ongoing; EIM certification required)Come serve at Saint Vincent de Paul Family Center Food Pantry! This is a great opportunity to serve at a local food pantry where over 900 families come each weekend. St. Albert has a team that volunteers the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Come for a 2-hour shift or stay for 4-hours. Shifts are from 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. or 9:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Must be EIM Certified and no children under 8th grade.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
(Ongoing; EIM certification required)The St. Vincent de Paul Society serves the needy in our parish boundaries. Financial aid such as rent, utilities, a medical bill, as well as compassion and prayer, is offered. The goal is to serve as visible examples to the needy that the parish cares about their welfare and existence. The intent is to spread the Good News of the Lord through our actions. The Black Bag collection held monthly, along with our annual Friends of the Poor Walk, are the major source of the financial aid we provide our neighbors in need.
