Late Sacrament

Once a child has reached the age of reason (7 years old), we cannot separate the Sacraments of Christian Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist).  Because of this, high school students seeking the Sacrament of Baptism will enter formation to receive all three Sacraments of Christian Initiation at Easter Vigil. This is commonly referred to as OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children). 

Our High School Sacramental program requires two years of formation. Our High School formation program is called "Youth Group" and meets on Sundays, 6:00-8:00pm from September-May. In the second year of formation, students will complete the same formation program as our Year 2 Confirmation students, plus a couple extra Liturgical celebrations.
