A committee has been formed to study the growth of St. Albert the Great and to identify the long-term needs for new or expanded infrastructure. Specifically, the committee is reviewing needs in the following areas and developing a Master Plan to address these.
Pathfinders is an exciting new men’s morning ministry that begins on Sept. 11th. All men are welcome to join us for breakfast, prayer, fellowship, and faith sharing. We will have presentations, discussions, prayer, weekly faith challenges, and Catholic fun facts. Start your day right with Jesus, Mary, and your brothers in Christ. Are you suffering from the loss of someone who took their own life? Come and pray for them and for each other at our Mass of Remembrance and Healing for those who died by suicide. Saturday September 21 at 9 am Fr Charlie will say Mass and pronounce the names of all we have lost. Flowers will be distributed in their memory. Discipleship U Fall Semester Registration is now open! We are offering six classes all free of charge. Some favorite classes are back and there are two new classes. Most classes are Thursday evening but we are also offering a Wednesday morning class, a Wednesday evening class, and a virtual class. The semester starts on Sept. 4th and ends on Nov. 21st. FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK will be held on September 21, 2024. Please sign up after Mass on August 10-11. This is a fun and rewarding way to support Saint Vincent De Paul Society’s mission of providing short-term financial and emotional support to our neighbors in need.
Please consider donating toiletry items on Aug 10-11 after all masses for the Mobile Loaves and Fishes (MLF) truck.
Most needed items: travel toothbrush kits, antibacterial wipes, deodorant, soap, body wash, shampoo, lotion, razors, hand sanitizer, comb, tampons/ pads, and socks and travel size mouthwash.
