5pm - 7pm on the Fridays of Lent; Seton Center (PAC) Main Hall and Drive-thru The Knights of Columbus will have their annual Lenten Fish Fry's on the Fridays of Lent from February 20th thru March 27th from 5pm to 7pm. The fish frys will be both on-site in the Seton Center and to-go for drive-thru pickup at the Seton Center. Orders will be taken online at www.StAlsKC.com, onsite in the Seton Center, and at the drive-thru. Donate: February 28-March 1 Bring small items (travel size) like mouthwash, toothbrushes, lip balm, SOCKS, personal hygiene, small pop-top cans of food, tuna fish pkgs, cheese & crackers, soft protein bars, “to go” size peanut butter, applesauce, fruit cups. 2. Volunteer: March 14 Come help assemble the bags 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Seton Hall 3. Distribute: March 14-15 After mass, help hand out bags & take a bag to deliver to a neighbor on the streets. Won't you answer the call to donate, pray & serve others?

Stuff the Truck- ONE DAY ONLY! 1/31 Are you looking for somewhere to donate your gently used items? All items will go to the SVDP Thrift Store. Items needed include: bed linens, clothing & accessories, jewelry, housewares, furniture, home decor, toys, sporting goods, luggage, large & small appliances, electronics & medical equipment.  Please, NO Christmas decorations! Please bring your items in bags or boxes if possible to help make loading easier.

On Tuesday, January 27, the Adoration Chapel will open at 9 AM. However, the Blessed Sacramet will not be exposed. Our office will open at 11:30 as we may have a refreeze of today's melted ice. As Fr. Red said in Sunday's message, please use prudence and caution when deciding to come to church. Let us continue to pray for the safety of our friends and neighbors. We have wonderful news to share! Thanks to your support, St. Albert the Great was able to increase our CSA pledge this year to $203,570, which is 150% of our goal. Due to inclement winter weather, all ministry meetings (including RE) on Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, are cancelled. The Adoration Chapel will not have the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the weekend, either. Masses will proceed as scheduled and will be livestreamed. It is important to remember that while the Church requires all the faithful to attend Mass on all Sundays and Holy Days of obligation, this obligation does not apply in grave situations like severe inclement weather that makes travel exceedingly dangerous. Putting ourselves at risk on dangerous roads also puts other drivers and first responders at risk. If the weather this weekend does not permit your safe travel to and from the parish the law of the Church dispenses your obligation to attend Mass (CIC 1248 §2) and recommends that you spend an appropriate time in prayer, whether personally or as a family. January 25th is Called by Name Sunday, an initiative of the Diocese of Austin Vocations Office that celebrates God’s call to each of us to follow Him in a particular way. At every parish in the diocese, our priests will share the story of their vocation to the priesthood - how they listened and responded to God’s call. As part of this special weekend, we are asking you to participate in two ways: pray for vocation and spend time this week thinking about someone in our parish whom God may be calling to the priesthood or religious life.
