On Wednesday, November 25, St. Albert is hosting a Thanksgiving meal—Feast of Grace—for parishioners and neighbors who are currently without a home, unable to provide a Thanksgiving meal for themselves or their family, or who will be alone for Thanksgiving. The meal will be in Seton Center from noon to 3 pm. There will be plenty of turkey, sides & desserts, fellowship & gratitude as we celebrate Thanksgiving together.
This Saturday is the feast day of our patron saint, St. Albert the Great. We will have the installation mass (bilingual) for Fr. Red at 10:00 AM. Please join us for this joyous occasion!

YCP Austin invites all young Catholic professionals (ages 21–39) to a panel discussion on charity featuring Allison Cavazos (Catholic Charities of Central Texas), Joe Pojman (Texans for Life Coalition), and Fr. In preparing for Christmas for our neighbors in need we ask for your help in giving a gift card to help them provide a gift and meal for their family. We will have our Christmas Giving Tree set up in the Narthex, hung with envelopes and instructions for a needy family for you to take and return with a gift card (include a gift receipt), starting Nov 8 & 9. You can donate on our church website by clicking on GIVE and selecting "Christmas". We will be available that weekend to accept donations after masses. Please return the cards by Dec 6 & 7.
Table of Remembrance
During the month of November our dearly departed loved ones will be remembered at all Masses celebrated at St. Albert the Great. You are invited to place a framed photo
of your deceased loved one on the Table of Remembrance in the baptistery. Write their name in the Book of the Names of the Dead and place a flower near the photo. Our old rectory in the Scofield neighborhood has been listed for sale. We will hold an open house on October 18, 12 pm to 2:30 pm, at 1800 Montana Sky, Austin, TX. 78727. The proceeds will go towards building a new rectory off of Bittern Hallow.
Blessing of The Animals
October 4 is the memorial of St. Francis of Assisi, who is known as the patron saint of all God's creations. We will have a pet blessing after the 9:30AM First Saturday Mass in the courtyard on Saturday, October 4. Please have all pets on a leash, in a cage or carrier, so that they can be kept safe. All God’s creatures great and small are welcome! St. Francis of Assisi pray for us!

In order for all clergy to attend the events surrounding the installation of Bishop Daniel Garcia there will be no confessions, no Mass, and no communion services here at the parish on Wednesday. September 17th and Thursday, September 18th. Our regular schedule will resume on Friday, September 19th.

Venturing Crew 3 is a ministry of St. Albert, a co-ed, high-adventure branch of Scouting America for ages 14-20. Their crew focuses on adventure, leadership, personal growth, and service.
